Another great seminar is in the books! Thanks to John Matesa for booking the Hall and Caterer and all the local leg work that goes with this job. Paul Detwiller for bringing all of his product and donating to the prize table. John and Rob Butler for running the entry table, Chris Lyons for organizing and running the seed auction which raised $480. Well done! All others that donated to the prize table and ZGreen Gro for providing all the great samples for the growers. Christine for her great presentation. The Hall Of Fame inductees Elaine and Bob MacKenzie and John Vincent, all are very well deserved. Dave McCallum for taking care of the seaweed, Gerry and Norm for bringing many of the supplies to the Seminar and Denim for picking up and delivering the Biochar. I would personally like to thank the Chenier team of Jen and Jacob who got me to the Seminar and helped in many different ways. Almost forgot our Growers of the Year. John Butler and Art Johnston - Congrats!

We really enjoyed seeing our friends again. We haven't seen many of them for over a year.

A big thanks go out to Kirk, his wife Jenn, their son Jake, Chris Lyons, John Matesa, Paul Dettweiler & John & Rob Butler for all the work they did to put together another great seminar. The roast beef lunch was terrific & we learned a couple interesting things to maybe try this season. Got some cool samples & even won a door prize. A good day all around.

We'd like to wish all our fellow members, all the best this coming season. Hopefully one of them will have a great year & win the 1-Ton Challenge & the $6000 that goes with it.

Let the 2019 Garden games begin. Good luck!

It is seed drying time of year. Keep your GVGO seed packs in mind. I am looking after sorting and sending out the packs this year. Lets all work together to make them great. Send in all kinds of seeds. Everyone is looking for different things in a seed pack. You must be a paid up member for 2020 to receive your seed pack. Here is where to mail them to: Jeff Warner 487413 Aidie Creek Garden Road Englehart, Ontario P0J 1H0 Send me an email or msg so i know something is coming and will let you know that i have received it. aidiejeff @
