Paid Membership history - includes HOF Members

The columns are, Year, Ont, Can, US, Eur, Total

2018 122 42 30 18 212

2019 110 33 20 17 180 paid as Mar 1st, 2019

Why is membership on the down swing?

The club has roughly 22,000 dollars with costs such as seed packages, seminar, embroidery, plaques, Hall of Fame, Grower of the Year awards and newsletters to pay for.

Whens the last time a pumpkin or squash out of the seed pack actually got planted?

Other than the grower themselves?

1 ton contest pays out 1/4 of the clubs money ($6000) and goes to the top 5% of growers! We are running a contest to break 2000 lbs when the rest of the world is trying to break 3000 lbs.

Does the club change some of the master growers levels?

Patch Tours - Does the club have one (under attended in the past) or some smaller ones witn club giving some small financial help?

Site Sponsorship - the club has heard alot of feedback on this! The weighoffs are for the growers and if the site pays the GPC should we not contribute something?

All site co-ordinators and growers attending GPC Weigh offs should review and follow GPC rules.

If you have comments this will be discussed at the seminar or email us at so the executive can discuss.

It's your club - get involved in some way if your able

It is seed drying time of year. Keep your GVGO seed packs in mind. I am looking after sorting and sending out the packs this year. Lets all work together to make them great. Send in all kinds of seeds. Everyone is looking for different things in a seed pack. You must be a paid up member for 2020 to receive your seed pack. Here is where to mail them to: Jeff Warner 487413 Aidie Creek Garden Road Englehart, Ontario P0J 1H0 Send me an email or msg so i know something is coming and will let you know that i have received it. aidiejeff @
