It is seed drying time of year. Keep your GVGO seed packs in mind. I am looking after sorting and sending out the packs this year. Lets all work together to make them great. Send in all kinds of seeds. Everyone is looking for different things in a seed pack. You must be a paid up member for 2020 to receive your seed pack. Here is where to mail them to: Jeff Warner 487413 Aidie Creek Garden Road Englehart, Ontario P0J 1H0 Send me an email or msg so i know something is coming and will let you know that i have received it. aidiejeff @ ntl.sympatico.ca

The largest pumpkin in Canada has been grown for a second year in a row in the City of Kawartha Lakes. This year's pumpkin weighed in at 1814 lbs. Phil Hunt has been growing pumpkins for 30 years and this year, the pumpkin has been determined to be the largest pumpkin in the country. Phil and wife Jane set up an annual display on their front yard and Hunt says growing is a great hobby for families and the pumpkins bring the community together this time of year. You can see the pumpkin, along with another large one at his home on Highway 35 north of the community of Cameron.
