My plant is just over 7 feet long now and the secondary vines are very slow. Is there anything i can do to get the secondary vine to grow faster? Im thinking its something im doing as my plants last year took a long time before the secondary vines took off.

It could be genetic or climatic but I have a few plants heading out of the hoop houses with very small side vines and one plant with the side vines heading out through the sides of the hoop house. All of my plants are treated the same so I am thinking more to genetic. This has been a reality with my plants for years with slow and fast side vine growth.
