    Deformed blossom lobes

    in Grower Discussion

Does anyone know what causes blossom lobes to grow funky? Are ok to pollinate?

I'd pollinate it if I didn't have a pumpkin on that plant. Watch it closely to make sure it's growing okay in the 1st 20 days. Got nothing to lose at this point. Not sure but it looks like a 5 lober with a possibility of something else (a couple seeds maybe?) in there as well. Hopefully that is just your back-up, but if not, give it lots of love & hope for the best. Pollinate the next one out just to be safe.

    Good luck.
