What's everyone's views on drip irrigation? Pros and Cons. I have a roll of tape and the 10lb pressure reducer, filter and fittings to go into the header. All I need is the header pipe. I'm thinking it could save me at least an hour of my limited after work patch time to do other things other than watering.

To see this working, head to your live site.
Drip lines take time to set up and
clean up ,if you are going to use them another year. They limit tillage and you have to be careful if you hoe.
With drip irrigation your leaves stay dry and when thy are set up on a timer you are all set unless it rains.
I was seriously considering drip irrigation last year but didn't want to spend the money on something I wasn't sure would work for me. I like hand watering so I bought a 3/4 hp irrigation pump on sale at CT it pumps over 1,000 gals an hour and cut watering time in half from old pressure system which I still use on sprinklers on hot days
Any idea what water pressure you can get from that pump ?
Caper when you did your lactic acid how much of a scum did you have on your rice wash. The video I watched on the internet had about 1/4". Mine is just a scim. Less than 1/8"
I had about the same as you
Thanks. This stuff looks pretty good. I'll put it on this afternoon.
I used a turkey baster to get the middle layer out to add it to the milk. I'm in cuba now back home tomorrow I'll post a few pictures.
K. Thanks
Bring some of that warm weather with you when you come back!
Thanks Caper. The site I was on said to mix equal parts lactic with molasses. Said it would last longer if you fed the bacteria. And you double your product.
Send me an email.
Yes I did that too. Mix this mixture 1:20 with water and then 1 table spoon per/gallon in the garden.
So you cut it 20:1 then 1 oz. per gallon? Are you putting it in your compost tea?
Yes I use it in my compost tea but I mix it in after the tea is brewed. The lacto doesn't like too much air so I've read
