What's everyone's views on drip irrigation? Pros and Cons. I have a roll of tape and the 10lb pressure reducer, filter and fittings to go into the header. All I need is the header pipe. I'm thinking it could save me at least an hour of my limited after work patch time to do other things other than watering.

And kills a lot of pathogens in your soil. That's why I started playing with it in the first place.
I'm going to use the stuff I made for making homemade fish hydrolysate.

There is lots you can use it for. Even works on stinky running shoes...lol. spray a little inside the shoe next day there fresh as a daisy.
That's a nice bonus. If I can get mine going I'm going to try some bokashi.
I used the lacto I made. After making this I got an an email from SCD probiotics I used their product ProBio plus last year. It's almost like em1 main ingredient lactobacillus. They used a pic of my Giant pumpkin from last year at the world AG expo in California because I used their product. They sent me a 5 gallon jug free of charge. I'm going to try it on some other crops at our farm.
so did you buy some EM1 or use the lacto you made
This stuff is pretty much the same as em1 less a few ingredients. You can expand this stuff again to make more by adding 1 part molasses to 1 part lactobacillus serum and 20 parts water and put it some where warm and dark and let it ferment. When the ph is around 3.5 it's ready. Then use 1 table spoon per gallon.

Yes I use it in my compost tea but I mix it in after the tea is brewed. The lacto doesn't like too much air so I've read
So you cut it 20:1 then 1 oz. per gallon? Are you putting it in your compost tea?
Yes I did that too. Mix this mixture 1:20 with water and then 1 table spoon per/gallon in the garden.
Thanks Caper. The site I was on said to mix equal parts lactic with molasses. Said it would last longer if you fed the bacteria. And you double your product.
mdemars@kent.net Send me an email.
Bring some of that warm weather with you when you come back!
K. Thanks
I used a turkey baster to get the middle layer out to add it to the milk. I'm in cuba now back home tomorrow I'll post a few pictures.
Thanks. This stuff looks pretty good. I'll put it on this afternoon.
I had about the same as you
