I have a question for all growers. Has anybody had any success using pig manure in their garden as my neighbor has offered me some pig manure.

Simon, I would stay away from pig manure if possible. It would be far better if you could find some cattle or sheep manure. I know it is tempting especially if it is offered to you but pig manure does have a risk of parasitic diseases that could be transferred to humans. I definitely wouldn’t use it on any type of vegetable garden. Also, you should never use it when it is fresh and needs to be composted but that still doesn’t guarantee that the pathogens will be gone.
