Saw this last year and have it again on several plants... any 'thoughts/oppinions' as to whats causing this?

I would have thought excessive rain and cool temperatures. Saying that, I've never seen that affliction this late in the season.

Thanks chris...hope your right🤔,... it does make sense though genetically...my most 'stricken' plant comes from a very orange fruit. Will spray as well...i was thinking micro too, with all this rain somthings gota get diluted, but not sure what would display itself in this way😓. Thanks again.

Hey Joel, By what I can see in the photo I was told many years ago that it is excessive colour pigmentation that is in the plant and not being used yet in the pumpkin. The other possibility is a deficiency of some sort. Either way I have never had a problem with a plant or a fruit's growth when they are showing a symptom like that. May not hurt to give it some micro nutrients from time to time just in case.
