I start of with solo cups with a few holes in the bottom. Then transplant to 2 gallon grow bags.

    Hi Caper842,

Thank you for the pictures, and I have pots that size and that picture really helped seeing it beside the water jug.

    Thanks Simon Southwell

No problem Simon. It's not necessary but I use a clear solo cup inside a solid color cup. That way I can check on the roots and know when it's time to transplant into the bigger pot.

    Hi Mr. Rendell,

Thank you for the quick response, that's cool I haven't thought of that, I'm soaking my seed tonight and planting tomorrow, because your in Nova Scotia when do you start your giant pumpkins?

I just started mine tonight. I soak my seeds in warm water on a heating mat for 3 hours. Then I place them in damp not soaked paper towel in a ziplock sandwich bag until they pop a root. Once I see a root I put the in the solo cups. There are lots of ways to plant your seeds this is just how I do it.

    Hi Mr. Rendell,

I'm soaking a 2363 Holland that I got at an auction, a 1846 Harley from your auction, the 2170 Daletas / 1927.5 Daletas / 1803 Hoelke / 1807 Holub sq / 1542 Kline / 1512 Butler / 1760 Bryson, I'll let you know in a week what happens because it usually takes 3 days to germinate a seed.

    Thanks Simon
