Grower Diaries

After some failed germinations and mutilated plants I will be going with the 2269 Paton this year. This will be my last year growing AGs (at least for the time being) so hoping for the best, but unfortunately I have no back-up plant.

I also have several fodderbeets and table beets going, as well as a giant carrot, two parsnips, several heavy bell peppers, tall corn, a 127 Kline LG, and two 108 Nieuwenhoff bushel gourds. Still have to sow the runner beans, heavy and long cucumbers, tomatoes and field pumpkins.

I also planted 30 mostly old or rare varieties of potatoes for an exhibition at a botanical garden here.
