My two cents is you need a bigger plant to push a pumpkin. My 1674 had 600SQFT behind pumpkin and all together 700SQFT. Day 20 i deaden all growth on the plant. I feed heavy everyday. Key is to keep your plant healthy all year long. I used soluble Companion every 2 weeks all year. I never had PM or DM all year. The Bracebridge Agricultural Society will host their first ever silent auction on bigpumpkins.com. Lots will be posted Saturday Feb 2 evening and bidding will close on Feb 16 at 8:00 PM est. All proceeds are in support of the Bracebridge Fall Fair Weigh off.
