We are very sorry to hear of Zeke's passing. Our condolences to Cindy & family during this difficult time. He was a fun loving guy who was eager to always help out with the GVGO, his local area & the giant vegetable growing community. It was nice seeing Zeke & Cindy at Port Elgin this past Oct. He had a great season in the patch last year growing 2 new personal best tomatoes over 5 pounds. A feat that only a few people in Canada have accomplished. Way to go Zeke. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace Zeke

My Big Wixson's didn't germinate either.

Well if your good for seeds, then maybe try to plant a couple of the DeMars seeds as well. I know nothing about these TNT monster seeds, so not sure if they will grow to the size your hoping for. Maybe someone that grew them can chime in & let you know how well they did for them. Good luck

I would start all of the 3.51 Demars seeds too. Where are you located? Plants won't go into the soil until June, so you got time. Send me your address & I could send you some other seeds to use if you want. How many plants do you plan on growing? As far as your soil goes, I just grow mine in my garden. I add some triple 19, some k-mag, kelp meal & humic acid to my whole garden. Once plants are ready to go into the dirt, I add some mycorrizal fungi, AZOs to the planting site, along with a couple WOW starter paks & then add water. Once they have taken & are starting to grow, I use a compost tea brew once a week & drench the soil around them. That should get you started.

Hi Noah Have you got any giant tomato seeds? If so, you can start them indoors now. They should be ready for the ground by early June. No special stuff for germination. Just put your seeds in some potting mix & you should see something pop up within 7-10 days. Make sure your soil is just moist, not soaking wet. They grow fairly quickly once they get going. Officially taking the season off from growing pumpkins. Will still grow a couple tomatoes & other smaller giants for fun. Our soil needs a rest & some love if we are ever to give the 2000# number a go. Jane & I will help Chris Lyons to grow 1 big one for a weigh off & for the front lawn.
